Time is ticking!
Time. There’s never enough of it. You know, people to see, things to do. And while some of it is simply necessary and mundane, most of us would love to have more time to spend with people we love, doing things that are important to us.
Spending time thinking about what clothes to wear is not high on many people’s agenda, and I don’t think it should be. Life is too short to spend worrying about what you wear! But in our image obsessed, media driven culture, it’s also too short not to think about it at all.
The way that you dress can open doors or close them. It can start conversations or end them. It can change your life, or keep it exactly like it is now.
How much time to you spend trying to decide what to wear? Day to day? On special occasions? How many outfits do you try before you actually move on with your day? Many of us spend far longer looking in the mirror than we want, or need to. The problem is we don’t know what’s wrong, but we don’t feel confident in what we see looking back at us, so we try to keep tweaking and trying new options.
Having a clear understanding of what works for your body, personality, lifestyle and work context means that you can build a wardrobe that has outfits for every occasion you face, that you can pull on each day in record time.
Life is about far more than what you wear, and with a small initial investment of time on your part, you can save hours in the shops and in front of the mirror, and feel more comfortable and confident to boot!
Time. Are you making the most of yours?
